The Drama Desk nominations came out, and WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? got the following noms:
Outstanding Revival of a Play
Outstanding Actress in a Play - Kathleen Turner
Outstanding Actor in a Play - Bill Irwin
YAY!! I so want Bill to get some real recognition for this show. I also want him to get at least the full run of his contract, since that's what he wants, too - he told me it was 8 months, which is until November.
If he gets the Tony nom, I'm seriously considering sending him flowers. I'll certainly do a congratulations card, and probably one for this DD nom too.
