metahacker about his great advice re: fixing my gas cap cover, but the repair has failed. I got the J&B Quik, followed all instructions (including cleaning and sanding the break), and fixed it Thursday. I let it set for about 15 hours, and everything looked almost as good as new on Friday. Unfortunately, we came out of the event on Saturday and found the cover dangling again. We're back to the packing tape solution and looking for more advice. Ideas?
