Whoa - been a long time since I've seen that! I was tidying the pantry closet and came across a can of green tomatoes that was bulging on both ends. Guess botulism is indeed alive and well in today's modern canning processes. It was from Mexico, BTW, but that sort of thing can happen anywhere.

I showed it to DSR and carefully tossed it in the trash. Now and then it's worth reviewing your pantry items for improper aging!
